David Rosén was a Swedish furniture designer whose work with Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in the 1940s-50s placed him at the heart of Swedish mid-century modernism. His “Futura” series of 1949 (and subsequent storage and table designs) combines fine woods, brass accents and clean proportions. His cabinet and case-goods work continues to be sought after and shows the elegant craftsmanship of the era.
